Doby Studio Pte Ltd, incorporated on 25 August 2008, is an extension of Garyg Comic Studio founded by Mr Gary Goh in 2006. With a Master of Arts (Chinese Studies), a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) and a Professional Diploma in Creative Entrepreneurship, Mr Goh is a visionary educator who is committed to use comics as a tool to enhance teaching and learning.
In the local education scene, Mr Goh is a pioneer in incorporating comics as a teaching tool in various subjects, especially the Chinese Language and Art. Among other educational publications, he is the creator of the popular cultural comic series Doby The Little White Dragon.
Under Mr Goh’s leadership and with the support of schools, Doby Studio has conducted many thematic comic-drawing classes to complement the school curriculum.
Other than managing Doby Studio, Mr Goh also acts as President of the Comics-In-Education Society. He is a much sought after trainer and speaker for his experience and expertise in creative teaching.
